Day 14

Day 14 of the December Photo Project
We had a completely unscheduled day yesterday which was rare and nice. We decided to use our passes and make a quick run to the zoo. The dreary weather made for an empty zoo. It’s great having the petting zoo all to yourself or looking at the polar bears with only 6 other people.
The picture below is of a bird that wasn’t actually part of an exhibit. He was hanging out on top of an animal’s cage just scoping out the scene. He flew off soon after I took this shot. I think it is some sort of falcon but I’m not sure. Anyone know?

  1. Thanks Kristy. These were all shot with our 70-200 which is newer, but not our newest lens. We’re not 100% sold on the 24-70 yet. Ginette wants to use it on a few more shoots before we make any decisions.
