How it was 10 years ago I have no idea. It sounds so cliche to say it feels like yesterday, but it truly feels like yesterday. Our kids say we look so young in our wedding pictures, but Daniel and I both feel the same as we did that day we said “I do”. I still feel the same warmth when I think of my husband. I still feel the same “YES!” screaming inside of me when I think about him asking to marry me. We love each other more and more each year…even with all our wrinkles. 😉
To celebrate 10 years we left the kids with Grandma and Papa for 5 days and flew to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It was glorious. Well, the leaving the kids with Grandma and Papa part. The trip was warm and filled with great weather and incredible food…..but just a few weeks before leaving I found out I was pregnant with our third baby. We are blessed by God’s plan…but in my humble opinion, the timing couldn’t be worse. Most of this glorious vacation I felt sick, sick, sick, and nauseous, nauseous, nauseous. I have asked Daniel to promise to repeat this trip and take me back again after all babies and pregnancies are out of the picture. 🙂
Even so, we were so grateful to be in Cabo.
Bits of Mexico we discovered…
By far one of the biggest highlights of our trip was going to a little farm. It was incredible. Just this tiny, sweet, little farm with a tasty restaurant. It felt like a little piece of paradise.
It was truly a glorious trip and I can’t wait to do it again sometime!
